Albini Yarns presents the SS 2027 collection at Filo

From nature to the future: a collection defined by the ongoing search for new blends, giving life to outstanding yarns.

FILO – Fiera Milano Rho – 23/24 September 2025 – Hall 14 Stand A13

At the 64th edition of FILO, Albini Yarns unveils its Spring/Summer 2027 collection – a reflection of artisanal excellence, sustainability, and innovation. The collection stands out for its continuous exploration of new blends, resulting in yarns that are unique in both quality and variety.

Linen is presented in a more rustic and natural version, either pure or blended with cotton and innovative cellulosic fibres such as MicroTencel. Cupro yarns are also renewed, now available in a crêpe variant and in blends with cotton and linen, further enriching the offering.

A highlight of the collection is An.Ti.Co., a cotton that grows naturally coloured in shades of brown and green. It is the result of crossing ancient, naturally pigmented cotton seeds with white-fibre Pima cotton, producing longer and stronger fibres. The use of naturally coloured cotton eliminates the need for chemical dyes, significantly reducing environmental impact.

The range of premium cottons expands with the introduction of Suvin, one of the world’s rarest and most refined extra-long staple varieties. First developed in India in the 1970s from a cross between Sujata, a local variety, and St. Vincent, a Caribbean strain of Sea Island cotton, Suvin is produced today in extremely limited quantities and is prized for its silky softness, natural sheen, and exceptional strength.

Since June, our new twisting department has been fully operational at our spinning mill in Hungary, acquired in 2023. This investment increases our production capacity, provides greater flexibility, and ensures even more direct control over our supply chain. Our Spinning Lab is also fully active – a dedicated experimental lab for research and development of special and exclusive yarns, created in response to growing demand for customisation from our clients.”

Francesco Bianchetti – General and Commercial Director of Albini Yarns

Albini Yarns continues to affirm its leadership in the sector with a fully traceable supply chain managed in-house, from the selection of raw materials to the final yarn. Most of the production takes place in the company’s European spinning mill, ensuring the highest quality standards and full traceability.
