Supima®
Supima® is an Extra-Long Staple cotton known for its white, long and fine fibres. It is grown mainly in California, Arizona, Texas and New Mexico. Its distinguishing characteristics are the absence of fibre pollution, due to mechanical harvesting, and a remarkable resistance to pilling.
ICA selects only the best American Supima® cotton with characteristics of length (36 mm), resistance and fineness (3.8 Micronaire) above the standard.
Supima inspects and certifies the origin of each yarn with Supima® trademark.
Verified by Oritain certifies that the yarns are scientifically traced through an accurate process based on forensic science. This makes it possible to trace the origin of the cotton and all phases of the production process.
